How do I start using Debly?

Is my data private?

Yes, all your data stays on your device and is not shared.

Can I use Debly for free?

Yes, Debly offers a free version with essential features.

Do I need to sign up to use Debly?

Nope. Debly works completely offline and doesn't require any sign-up or account creation. Just open the app and start logging your shifts.

Where is my data stored?

All your data is stored locally on your device. Nothing is uploaded or shared - you stay in full control.

Can Debly handle night shifts?

Yes! You can toggle the night shift option when adding a shift, and even set a separate night rate in your settings.

Can I set reminders to log my shifts?

Absolutely. You can customize daily shift log reminders and get payday alerts so you never miss a beat.

Does Debly calculate my take-home pay?

Yes, Debly estimates your monthly pay and applies approximate deductions for income tax, national insurance, and pension based on UK guidelines.

Is Debly available on Android?

Not yet. Debly is currently available on iOS. An Android version is in our future plans!

Is my data safe if I delete the app?

Since data is stored locally, deleting the app will also delete your shift history. We're working on optional backup features for future versions.

Can I use Debly for multiple jobs?

Right now, Debly is optimized for tracking one main shift pattern. Support for multiple job profiles is something we're exploring.

Can I edit or delete a shift after logging it?

Yes! Just tap on a logged day in the calendar or shift history to edit or delete it anytime.

What happens if I forget to log a shift?

Debly sends daily reminders and an end-of-day summary at 7PM to prompt you. You can also manually log past shifts.

Can I change my hourly rate later?

Definitely. You can update your hourly or night rate at any time from the Settings screen.

Can I customize the payday range or cut-off date?

Yes - Debly allows you to set your payday and calculates pay summaries based on that schedule (like 25th to 25th).

Does Debly support overtime or bonuses?

Not yet. The app currently supports standard and night rates. Overtime and advanced pay structures are being considered for future updates.

Can Debly export my shift history or pay summary?

Not right now, but we're working on adding export features (CSV/PDF) in an upcoming release.

Is Debly free? Will there be a paid version?

Debly is currently free. We plan to offer optional Pro features in the future (like backup, multi-job support, and advanced reporting) while keeping the core app free.

I work agency shifts - is Debly for me?

Absolutely. Whether you're a full-time nurse or doing agency work, Debly helps you stay on top of your shifts and pay with minimal effort.
